Eligibility Criteria

Basic B.Sc. Nursing (4-Year Degree Program)

  • Minimum age: 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • Completed 10+2 with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English.
  • Minimum aggregate marks: 45% (40% for SC/ST or reserved categories).
  • Must be medically fit.
  • Admission is based on entrance exam as per HNBUMU University

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2-Year Degree Program)

  • Completed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognized institution.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife (RN/RM) with any State Nursing Council.
  • Admission is based on entrance exam as per HNBUMU University.

M.Sc. Nursing (2-Year Postgraduate Program)

  • Completed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife (RN/RM).
  • One year of clinical experience after B.Sc. Nursing
  • Admission is based on entrance exam as per HNBUMU University

Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care (NPCC – 2-Year Residency Program)

  • Completed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC-recognized institution.
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience in a critical care setting.
  • Must be a Registered Nurse and Midwife (RN/RM).
  • Minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree.
  • Admission is based on entrance exam as per HNBUMU University.

Admission Process

  • Entrance Exam: Admission will be based on the HNBUMU University.

  • Merit List: Selection will be strictly on merit basis through counseling.

  • Counseling: Conducted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Medical Education University or Uttarakhand Nursing Council (as notified).

Documents Required (At Admission)

  1. 10th & 12th mark sheets and certificates
  2. Domicile certificate of Uttarakhand
  3. Caste certificate (if applicable)
  4. Transfer/migration certificate
  5. HNBUMU University rank card
  6. Aadhar card
  7. Passport-sized photographs (recent)
  8. Medical fitness certificate
  9. Character certificate from last institution

  1. Admission will be cancelled if any information provided is found false.

  2. All original documents must be produced during admission.

  3. Candidates must report on time as per the counseling schedule.

  4. Ragging is strictly prohibited and punishable under law.
